As an HVAC Technician, you’re not just maintaining the hotel’s physical safety and functionality – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Maintain hotel facilities: Ensure physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas
• Respond to service requests: Quickly handle guest calls and team member work orders
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks: Conduct repairs and maintenance across various areas, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections: Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address preventive maintenance needs
• Document maintenance activities: Record completed inspections and repairs and flag any issues requiring further attention
• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment.
• Demonstrate expertise in the repair and maintenance of VRF HVAC systems.
• Maintain mechanical plant equipment and conduct daily inspections.
• Monitor and control property temperature.
• Monitor and analyze energy and utility consumption.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and other equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems and wiring.
• Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems, fittings, valves, and related components.
• Troubleshoot and repair water leaks, drainage systems, water supply systems, and other plumbing issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical power supply systems, control panels, relays, and electric water heaters.
